Creative Ink was approached by Access Health to design and develop a new website which could provide potential clients with an overview of their product offering as well as act as a “marketing layer” for their case management system.

Creative Ink was chosen as the preferred digital service provider from 7 firms, in the Gauteng area, who were approached to propose a solution in line with the requirements of Access Health.

About Access Health:

Access Health (SA) is a subsidiary company of Europ Assistance Worldwide (SA), which is owned by the world’s leading provider of assistance services, Europ Assistance Worldwide. Generality, the second largest insurance company in Europe is 100% owner of Europ Assistance Holdings.

Since its local launch in 1996, Access Health (SA) has established itself as the country’s foremost specialist in disease management programmes. Access Health renders the following services:

Health risk assessments and management.

Disease management programmes.

Employee wellness programmes.

Compliance Management programmes.

The above mentioned services are rendered to employees and organizations in all sectors of the South African economy, to medical aids and administrators as well as pharmaceutical companies.

The old website presented a number of obvious problems:

Not aligned with the Access Health corporate identity (CI);

Lack of a platform which would allow Access Health to update content inhouse;

Confusing hierarchy of information;

No means of coming into contact with an Access Health representative; and

Lack of application of best practice in terms of Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

Creative Ink proposed and implemented a fresh new “look and feel” in line with the Access Health CI and developed a website (www.accesshealthsa.com) aligned with the following objectives of Access Health:

Primary Objectives

To develop a clearly defined proposition for AHSA (Access Health South Africa) and its offerings

To position AHSA in a way that challenges stakeholders and competitors

Secondary Objectives

To communicate AHSA new service/product offerings into the consumer market

Our Solution:

We have elevated information pertaining to the core business offering, to the landing page of the website, and have provided both existing and potential clients with the ability to come into contact with business critical staff.

Creative Ink has provided Access Health with a Content Management System (CMS) developed in .NET on the latest MSSQL 2008 platform. The CMS we have developed is easy to use and enables key content custodians to update any portion of content with ease. The website seamlessly links to Access Health’s web-based case management system.

Best practice has been applied in terms of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and a strategy for ongoing Search Engine Marketing (SEM) has been developed with Access Health’s short and long term online objectives in mind.

Since live implementation of the website, Access Health has committed to a long term relationship with Creative Ink in maintaining www.accesshealthsa.com , as well as the provision of ongoing digital media solutions.

Here at Creative Ink, we’re warming up to winter, and would like fellow South Africans to feel the warmth too! We have decided to extend our support in any way possible to the Twitter Blanket Drive organized by Melanie Minnaar.

While most of us are dreaming up ways of deriving some sort of business benefit from available social networks, there are others for which a warm night’s sleep is a luxury. We applaud the efforts of both Melanie and the regional organizers of the Twitter Blanket Drive for taking the time to give back to the community, and for creatively utilizing a channel such as Twitter, for such as noble cause.

According to the Twitter Blanket Drive website, there are over 50,000 registered Twitter users in South Africa alone, and even a 5% attendance would mark a significant achievement. We encourage you as client, peer or competitor to participate in this nationwide drive, to be held at various locations on Saturday, 29 May 2010 at 18:00. Please visit the #TBD website for all the venue details and RSVP your attendance today!
