Here at Creative Ink, we’re warming up to winter, and would like fellow South Africans to feel the warmth too! We have decided to extend our support in any way possible to the Twitter Blanket Drive organized by Melanie Minnaar.

While most of us are dreaming up ways of deriving some sort of business benefit from available social networks, there are others for which a warm night’s sleep is a luxury. We applaud the efforts of both Melanie and the regional organizers of the Twitter Blanket Drive for taking the time to give back to the community, and for creatively utilizing a channel such as Twitter, for such as noble cause.

According to the Twitter Blanket Drive website, there are over 50,000 registered Twitter users in South Africa alone, and even a 5% attendance would mark a significant achievement. We encourage you as client, peer or competitor to participate in this nationwide drive, to be held at various locations on Saturday, 29 May 2010 at 18:00.
